"Great hotel with period features. Great location within walking distance to all the historical tourist sites. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were really helpful, providing us with a map and recommendations for restaurants. I especially appreciated the invitation for the wine tasting. "It is a beautiful property. However, if you are not staying here with small children you may be disappointed. The hotel clearly markets itself as very child and family friendly, and it has dedicated children’s areas that are very close to main areas such as the dining room. As a result it is not peaceful in many areas of the property. Even dedicated adult swimming pool hours in the spa are not respected by guests with their children.
