"Beautiful location with road access. Large facility with big bathroom and living areas. Plenty of dishes and silverware to use. Renters take notice if important to you of the following: Descriptions says “laundry” but there is none on property for guests. Boating equipment not available No outdoor grill found Pretty important for us “no microwave” Dishwasher rack is broken Floor in kitchen is warped prob from water damage The thermostat only controls hallway, not rooms No lighting in dinning area Bathroom sink was good with ample counter for toiletries, but no soap in shower. No cleaning liquids to clean counters so we used the dish soap. We left trash neatly bagged in kitchen because there was no place to deposit"

"Traveled with my daughter to Svolvær. We had a balcony room which I would say is a must, far better to be able to relax above the water and watch the boats go by than to look over a parking lot. The room and en suite were both comfortable and spacious enough that the two of us did not feel cramped. I would love to know what the mattresses were made of. Throughout Norway all of them were the same three inch thick material but immensely comfortable. Seemed like a very green choice. The staff was welcoming and helpful during check in and out and any time we had a question. We ate the breakfast buffet once, it had extensive fresh and delicious choices, well worth the price. Overall A+ accomidations."

"The front desk clerk, Joseph, was very helpful. The hotel property was great. We were here off season, but still loved the area. Many of the shops were closed because we got in late on a Saturday but the Mix was open. We hiked nearby and took advantage of Joseph’s restaurant recommendation the Fiskekrogen which was excellent. I strongly recommend the fish soup. "
