The Charleston Inn

"This is a very cute bed and breakfast. The beds were comfy, the room we stayed in was huge. We loved the traditional bed and breakfast vibe and would recommend it. The only negative is parking but it wasn’t awful. If you don’t get one of the 4 spots in front of the inn then you have to park in the back and walk around to the front to get back in. We preferred the back parking g spot because the front four spaces are on street parking on a pretty busy road. It was the only negative so really not a big deal. I would recommend and will book another stay next time we are passing through."

"I enjoyed my stay at Skylarnna Resort. The hotel was quiet, and the scenery was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the on-site pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar were closed during our stay, so we had to go off-site for meals and drinks. Even though those facilities were closed, it would have been nice to still have the option to purchase bottled water or other beverages on-site. The room was clean, but the bathroom didn't have any ventilation, which caused it to get quite hot at times. The resort did have a plug-in fan for the bathroom, and it helped while we were using it. We also kept the bathroom door closed to help keep the heat from spreading into the rest of the room. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Aside from those minor inconveniences, I really enjoyed my stay and would consider visiting again."

"The building is 100 years old. So part of the stay is experiencing the age and history of the building. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some rooms come with breakfast and some do not. Ours did not which suited us. There is a nice porch with rocking chairs where we enjoyed some refreshments in the evening. The tv in our room wss small, but we did not go to watch tv. We had a good time."
