The location was great. Right in downtown Asheville. Free parking was available.
Room was clean.but we spent 4 nights in the hotel, there was no cleaning service at all.
Nobody cleaned the room, took garbage out, change towels, made our bed.
Last night we were awaken at midnight by a very loud noise coming from a drier located around the corner from our room. When I called front desk, staff member was in the middle of something and didn’t show up until I called again. She had an infant with her. Offered us to move to a different room at midnight. When we refused she said there was nothing she could do and we had to wait until the drying cycle was over. That took over 40 minutes.
When I said that I want to be reimbursed for the last night stay, the owner was contacted and we were offered 20% discount for one night which came to $17. I don’t think it covered the inconvenience of not sleeping the night before 11 hours drive back home.
There was another staff member involved in this situation. Neither of them even apologized for the inconvenience to us.
Also, breakfast selection was very limited.
