"The location is great with walk way along the river and it is closer to most shops for those that fancy home made food. Lots of parking space and it is secure. Notwithstanding, the Wifi was rubbish. Perhaps this was just something unusual because I told the staff, that I could not use the wifi due to low strength and constant disconnection."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Brambles. The staff were attentive and we loved the cafe. The street parking was very easy. We knew beforehand there would be no lift, and it was really not an issue for us. We would definitely stay again. "

"Handy for Rothsey, and a lovely old building. My room was facing the harbour and an interesting view. Tired in places, chair was very wobbly, and doors etc as you would expect in a property of this age. However, the retro-fitted en-suite was good, and nice and clean. Felt like carpet had not been hovered. The Scottish breakfast was nice and not too overwhelming. Just right. The guys running the place were really friendly and polite."

On the River Kelvin, leafy walks to Kelvigrove Park on the river and on doorstep of The University. Super value and beats a chain hotel."

"We thought we were booking into an Inn with facilities but its a complex of Lodges which are being constructed and a building site. There was no superior room, we were in a Lodge away from the main building as that has just been hanged into rooms with a few tables and chairs in the kitchen for breakfast.. "Large apartment with great kitchen and very comfortable bed. However a very hot apartment. There was no way to cool the room down in the afternoon except to open the windows to the hoons driving around in their" hotted up " cars. Had to shut the windows in order to sleep, then woke up to a very hot room. Turned the boiler temperature down, to no avail. Staff apologetic and explained that the building itself was very old.
