"LOVED our stay. The hotel is an easy walk from the ferry. We did have a car and parking was available and free. The rooms were great and the breakfast buffet had lots of options from typical European breakfast to eggs & bacon. We didn’t get to try the hotel restaurant for dinner but it looked good! We will definitely make another trip here when we can. Worth the detour out from the mainland!"

"This was our favourite place to stay in Iceland. The mountain views are gorgeous and the cottage is new, modern, beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. We wished we could stay longer! We were nervous booking this because there were only a few reviews but are so happy we did. We also loved the quiet and seclusion while only a 15-20 min drive from Hvolsvöllur for groceries or dining out."
