Fantastic property, You have to park a block away and if you dont know dutch you will have to figure things out. It has a very old almost saloon vibe. Rooms are above a first floor restaurant. There wasn't any noise however.

Our family came from U.S. and we had 7 rooms for 3 nights to attend my grandson’s wedding nearby. It was a great location and very nice accommodations.

Such a beautiful hotel with cute, quaint rooms. Very comfortable bed. Clean. Check in is a little weird as it's in the middle of the restaurant. And parking is a paid lot that is absolutely checked. But great hotel!

Great place in centre of heerenveen
Great hotel smack bang in the centre of Heerenveen. The food looked lovely in the bar downstairs but unfortunately I didn’t get to try

A beautifully restored and modernised Courthouse. Fabulousky decorated with all modern and contemporary technology and amenities. Maintaining the old traditional feel. It is a "wooow" hotel and Grand Cafe. Sublime food and service. Amazing young staff run the show. A special shout out to Bram Marskamp.

Wow!
I spent two nights here and had a wonderful stay. My room was large and beautifully decorated, perfect for a comfortable getaway. The best thing was the bathtub, which made for a very relaxing stay. There was a coffee maker and a hot water kettle as well, with coffee, tea and milk provided. I found the room to be very quiet, and heard very little noise from other rooms or the hallway. The restaurant downstairs has wonderful food, and I ate there both nights. Portions are generous, and I found myself far too stuffed to order dessert. Breakfast in the morning was rather shocking for me, seeing as it included enough food for at least four people: coffee or tea, milk, buttermilk, orange juice, a fruit smoothie, a bread basket stuffed with five kinds of bread, strawberry jam, butter, three kinds of meat, three kinds of cheese, omelette, soft boiled egg, yogurt with fruit compote, and granola. There was no way I could eat so much food, but what I did manage to eat was delicious. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It's also a 5-7 minute walk to the station if you want to go explore more of the area. For me, this was a lovely hotel provided the perfect break from the bigger cities and incredibly touristy nature of the rest of my journey.

Fantastisch leuk hotel in het centrum van Heerenveen. Hele mooie ruime kamer van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk bed met goede kussens. Service van het personeel was prima.

Heerlijk geslapen, prima bed. personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt geef je van te voren aan om verspilling te voorkomen, super idee! Kamer is schoon en ziet er keurig uit. Wij vonden de ligging iets minder, het ligt naast een winkelcentrum.

Authentiek hotel midden op een dorpsplein. Ontzettend vriendelijke ontvangst en bediening. Jong enthousiast personeel. Kamer netjes en modern met airco. Parkeergarage om de hoek, 6 euro per dag. Echt een aanrader

Beautiful boutique hotel with top service
Beautifully refurbished boutique hotel with attention to detail. Specious rooms with high ceilings, in-room bathtub, spacious double showers, comfortable beds, super silent eco-airco, wooden floors and a highly motivated team of staff. Excellent restaurants / grand cafes. Het Poostkantor offers dishes on a 5* level. Highly recommend.
