"The gym and pool were good but busy. It's a walk out of town, maybe 20 mins walk to the train station. Very nice staff, bar staff were particularly friendly and welcoming. Had a minor cleanliness issue with my room. They didn't correct it and didn't offer any recompense for it. Not my hair on the chair!"

"From check in to check out.I had a lovely stay. The hotel is really nice.I had an amazing sleep while there. The beds are very comfy. The breakfast on offer was really good, with cooked available. It was nice having a proper coffee maker at breakfast, so able to choose what you like.I would definitely stay again if in the area"

"This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay."

"I'm sorry to say I can't recommend the Alderley Edge Hotel.
I stayed here for a business trip to the local business park, booked for two nights. The first night was fine — I slept well. My room (55, second floor) ran warm, but opening the window solved it. In the morning I noticed the shower pole had come away from the wall and was just hanging there. I flagged it at reception. It was still usable, so no real issue.
The second night was a different story.
The hotel was hosting an awards...

New refurbed but can see has been done cheaply. Existing damaged ensuite door, old bath with new panels just fitted.. if your gonna refurb, do it properly as looks poor. "Friendly check in.
Good nightly rate and clean comfortable super king bed.
Quiet and managed some sleep after requesting a room a long way from the entrance.
Overall a short walk to the terminals - only manchester airport could charge £3.50 for a shuttle bus to the terminals. Welcome to a second tier airport. "

"The perfect start to our holiday
After a 3 hour train journey we relaxed in the bar and enjoyed a delicious meal. There was a great atmosphere in the bar which was busy but the service was very efficient. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The automated check-in and check-out was impersonal but meant we didn't have to queue at reception to check in. We took the courtesy bus to the terminal to avoid the heavy rain - an excellent service. We left for our holiday...

"No wi fi available. . Room basic, with bed ,1 plastic chair ,1 plastic stool no sofa. No amenities apart from a Kettle, no cups but were given.2 paper cups and t and coffee when asked at reception. 2 bath towels but no hand towels. Tiny bar of soap and 2 sachets of shower wash. Bed rock hard and very uncomfortable. When stripping bed in morning, to save cleaners a little time ,
discoverd why we were pulling at the quilt all night...it was a single quilt sideways in a king sized cover! ...
