"Really nice and regrettably brief stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast ran by a lovely couple. I was made to feel at home from the start and the hosts went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible (including an offer of a lift to a local pub!). Breakfast was really high quality and ample. I will definitely look to stay again! Thank you!"

"No towels ,just tea towels ,no hot water, no milk or spoon to make tea or coffee ,I stayed for 5 days ,no one came to do anything ,they didn't empty the bins or change sheets or give you a floor mat,"

"Lovely grounds at an historic housr.Clean rooms and quiet . Comfortable bed. Breakfast rather disappointing flask coffe not hot ,toaster very,very slow and food not that hot ,settled for cereals and fruit juice and had breakfast elsewhere later I would stay again but skip breakfast."

"Cheep and ok, there was no staff when we arrived just keys left out for us, feel like anyone could of just taken the key but they didn’t, and in the morning there was a staff talking very loudly outside our room at 8:30 in the morning so no lie ins, the room was clean but not well looked after"

"Had a great stay, had a lovely welcome, really comfy bed in a lovely cottage suite (room 11). Had everything you could need for a self catering stay. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Car parking included was a bonus. Would highly recommend with only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Bury St Edmunds. Would definitely stay again"

It's a simple, no-frills place with basic amenities, but it delivered exactly what we expected. Don't judge a book by its cover. The room is renovated and unique. Breakfast was not included but you can purchase it, the day before. We asked for an English breakfast, paid in advance and was served in the morning at the scheduled time.
