"Animal and Environmental harm caused by employees I recently stayed at Silver Sand Resort on Havelock Island and was deeply disturbed by what I witnessed. Several times, I saw resort employees throwing rocks at stray dogs that were calm, friendly, and non-aggressive. The island dogs are well accustomed to tourists, and Havelock Island is also widely known to be rabies free. "Really, really nice nice property. Beautiful vegetation and rooms. Clean, classy, well appointed, but nothing you don’t need. The staff were very helpful too. The food at the restaurant is excellent and well priced (300-400rs), I’d recommend dinner here to anyone. You can also rent scooters for the day around 500rs"
