The hotel is leaking at the room & refrigerator is also flooding. Meantime, there is no one time toothbrush & toothpaste. The shampoo also not refill & cleaning service is average only.
But very convenient to have a bus service, find some food, shopping & this hotel is in the center of the city. Not bad for this hotel.
Always our first choice when we are in Hatyai due to its strategic place n very near to local foodies n shopping mall...Bt this year is a very dissapoiting one...Young/Trainee Staff was rude as hell(Poor English yet the tantrum towards us)....booked 3 rooms n 1 of the room was dirty as hell(I guess it wasnt been stayed for a while..toilet floor were sandy n carpet was dusty)....Overally if they improve,i would come and stay again....
vacation with family. two rooms booked. The hotel is very well placed at the heart of the city. After you exit from the hotel, there are shops for food, mcdonalds, the lee garden plaza, and the night market (mostly food there, but there are souvenirs too)Make sure you book the royal wing, if you book the other one, it is an old run-down hotel. they have another building and that is much better. Rooms were clean upon entry, and cleaning did a good job on the room as well. however, the receptionist (40s or 50s man) was not friendly, he could not speak in english, and he was quite rude to us as well. a minus in somewhat a perfect hotel.we visited lee gardens plaza hotel, but the lifts were quite confusing, u must know which lift goes where. u might get lost there, like we did. we went to the 33rd floor buffet restaurant, food was okay, but the highlight is the view from up there. even if you are not gonna eat there, just go and have a look at the view, its worth it. right before we checked out, the reception told that the bath tub stopper(the cover that stops water from flowing out), is missing in one of our rooms. but it was a fault by the staff, he did not check properly as the stopper was right there. probably an attempt to get more money out of us. because i have seen some hotels do this to customers to get more money. be alert and make sure everything stays the same when u check out, the same way u checked in.there is a band music at night for relaxation, massage as well
The overall only the location is fine then other ,the worse is the kettle the bottom of kettle full of rust.

Broken lift doors needed to be fixed.
The doors for one of the two (2) old lifts were spoiled and did not open automatically and safely. They needed to be pushed open when we arrived at the lobby or at our floor. We did not feel safe in this lift.
Apart from the lift, everything else was good enough for us.

Good location but Room is bad
Location is good but too old for the room and not worth for the price we paid.
Old hotel. Bathroom sink leak causing at floor. Maintenance failed to attend to our request for repair until we return at night & then advised that he could not repair. Receptionist was reluctant to our request to change room but finally did it after repeated request. Won't want to stay at this hotel in future.
Staff are not so friendly
I come first to check out but she attended someone who came after me
Facilities? No iron for clothes..i asked for it but one who attended me just said no service..poor
The hotel room ought to be demolished/renovated as everything were decade old, not suited 3stars. Shower no water & not even a cheap hair dryer. When I requested for local map, receptionist pointed me out of a door to a tour company. What a hack!
The location of the hotel is great. However the hotel service was worst than a budget/low cost hotel.
We booked one of the suites (Imperial Suite). The suite was smelly and there was no drinking water provided in the room. Only 2 bath towels and one face towel were provided in the room. To make it worst, the hotel accused us for losing the face towel and refused to return my passport (they held my passport during our stay there). So after 2 hours arguing with the receptionists & the manager (we even offered them to check our luggage and car) they finally return my passport. But the fact that they detained us there for 2 hours for nothing and accused us for stealing their freaking face towel were just unforgivable.
After the incident we talked to a guy whom we met there (he works as a tour guide in Hatyai), and he told us that the hotel often have cases like that. And its normal for the hotels to detain you and ask for money for whatever reasons they could find. A terrible way of making money
