Location is superb if desiring to stay in Burton in the water. Beautiful, quaint town. Only complaint was lack of cooling. Luckily able to cool off at night with windows open. "The hotel has been photographed well, but in reality the hotel has become a bit dated and worn around the edges. The jacuzzi was not working and the pool temperature was cold. Tiles missing in the steam room, and left broken on the floor. The ladies pool changing room showered were dirty with numerous large chunks of grit on the floor. I alerted the staff and though they apologised did not appear to leap into action to rectify the issue. The room I stayed in was missing any bathroom door hooks so my towel got soaked when the water leaked from the shower tray, onto a floor which has clearly been damaged from previous leaks with cracked grout. Bathroom also had dirty and mildly rusty towel radiator. Mattress was acceptable but had seen better days as the did the base of the bed which just looked battered. Food was acceptable but overpriced given the quality. The staff were polite and courteous and the views lovely, but overall I wouldn’t recommend to others. "
