"Staff was very professional and friendly. Rooms had a great view of the water and bridge. They had a lot of amenities and services available. Definitely would stay here again."

"Tried to charge me again and even though I had already paid in advance. Charged my credit card additional charge for an unknown reason that they couldn’t explain but later took it off used the reason because I used hotel.com then when I checked out and asked for a receipt was told they couldn’t give me one to contact Hotel.com. Apparently they don’t like for you to book their rooms from somebody besides going straight through them"

"No microwave. Good spread for breakfast, but limit only 2 hours. Staff were wonderful."

"Breakfast was good, warm, nice variety. Room was clean & comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by maid service the second day. Many hotels don’t service rooms if you stay 2 days. Pool & sauna were nice. I’d always vote fot hot tub to be hotter. "

"We missed the last ferry to Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel and really enjoyed staying at Hamilton Inn. We had a room on the bottom floor and it had a balcony that overlooked the beach and we watched all of the birds and ducks passing by. The breakfast was good. And the hot tub after a cold day was perfect. "

"We could not get the water on in the shower. When we called front desk, staff member was very rude. She insisted it worked but had to be pulled and twisted. Both my husband and I tried to the point of fear of breakage. She did offer to come and prove it but neither of us were dressed. Upon checkout, housekeeping came to room and was able to pull with both hands and get water on. She was very pleasant and apologetic. Very disappointing!"
