"Didn't actually manage to stay here and had to book alternative accommodation at short notice. Despite checking in online earlier that morning and advising of expected arrival time, I didn't receive the code for the lock box and all attempts at contacting the host failed, no response to phone calls or text messages, in fact the host declined my calls on numerous occasions. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED that this host left a solo female traveler stood outside in the rain and in the dark for over an hour...

"Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed."

"Excellent place to stay. More than fully equipped. It was short of nothing, well heated, great shower, plenty of towels and toiletries, kitchen had everything required. Many nice touches were a wonderful bonus: welcome basket including all sorts of goodies and wine, as well as fresh bread and milk. Perfect ! "

"The reason for 5 stars is down to the staff all of whom were kind and helpful, particularly Michael. The room was very clean but has certainly seen better days and the bathroom was very cramped although had a good shower. "Improvements needed: Fixtures in bathroom require updating and repair Tap was wobbly and not secure to the sink and the shower on/off water temp control was broken which meant extreme hot water and lots of faffing to get it to eventually turn to cool down. Lack of staff available at bar/reception area. Positives: beds super comfy, breakfast excellent, location, value for money. Would stay here again, just hope the tap and showers fixed by then! "
