"The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door"

"Very disappointing stay. The room I booked was already occupied when I arrived. I was moved to a smaller room that did not match what I paid for three people, and my children had to find accommodation elsewhere. The place was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell. The kitchen was dirty. I did not even wait for breakfast. I chcked out very early in the morning."

"Fundamentally this should be a nice apartment, despite the tiny twin room. Living area and kitchen were nice and the main bedroom and the bathroom were both spacious. The main problem was that the toilet flush broke the first time it was used: the button that needed to be pressed got stuck and wouldn’t come back out. So the cistern wouldn’t refill and the toilet couldn’t be flushed. I dialled the contact number and it went to answer phone. I dialled the emergency contact mobile number and...

"I didn't know how this property had so many wonderful reviews over the years. I was told the hotel was a lovely place but was since sold. If you see any photos of breakfasts - they don't exist. I would not choose to stay in this property again."

"Staff were polite and welcoming. The lady at the desk in the dining room took time to walk around checking guests were OK. I gave an overall 4- star because my request for late check-out wasn't effected and I had to go back to reception to get it implemented. "

"Manager very attentive upgraded rooms because of an issue with air conditioning. Small fridge would have been a bonus but everything we needed in all our rooms, extra water and condiments in hallway. Fresh fruit was a nice touch. Restaurant was 10/10. The only disheartening incident was being refused Scottish bank notes, it is legal tender, definitely not the welcome we expected. Scotland is still part of the United Kingdom."

"Fabulous stay. Lovely, spacious, spotless twin room with very clean, modern en suite. Everywhere is extremely clean and very well maintained. Plenty of parking and a fantastic outside area for sunny days. Staff very friendly and helpful. Generous meal portions and absolutely delicious! We joined in the quiz night and were even greeted warmly (and helped!) by the locals. We will definitely be staying again!"
