"The property overall was clean and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and also very clean, with comfortable beds and a sizable bathroom. Microwave and refrigerator are included in the rooms, along with a freezer slot in the fridge."

"I reserved 3 rooms in October in preparation for celebrating a family graduation. My room did not have a working TV and a toilet that was unstable and sounded like it was ready to fall over. The front desk took note of our issue and promised a maintenance person would check it out. We constantly checked with front desk to find out the status of fixing our issues. No one ever did address our issues or followed up. The next morning they called to say the room with 2 queens, reserved 7 months prior...

"Room was very clean! Beds and linens were great. Grounds were not taken care of. We stayed there because of the pictures of the tennis courts, shuffle board and putting green. None of that is operational or there any more for at least 10+ years. Great location where you can walk to Kings dominion. But trash everywhere outside and run down. Dog poop, dirty diapers, broken glass and trash."

"This property has a traditional and country club vibe. It sits on 20 acres which would be lovely for a wedding or event. It’s obviously an older property but has been kept well. It was pretty empty when we arrived for an overnight stay and the cars are parked behind the building to the right when you drive up. We did not partake in dinner or breakfast."

"Couch bed still had a dirty fitted sheet on it with a comb and dirt found inside. The couch had stains all over it. Some of the hot breakfast food items were cold when being served. Hotel was close to the highway but there was definitely no sound deadening in the windows or wall."

"Where to start? Realized we had no shower curtain at 7:00 am. Reception was closed until 9:00. Tried calling on phone provided; message said there was no voicemail box so don’t bother. Hallways smelled absolutely horrible; elevator smelled like wet dog. Loud party across the hall at 2:00 am and paper thin doors/walls. Of course nobody around to stop it. Fire alarm went off and whole fire dept came because carpet cleaner set fire to hallway due to faulty wiring. Truly the bottom of the barrel....

"We truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and well kept and breakfast was very good. Next time we are passing through the Richmond area, we will definitely stay at this hotel again! "

"Overall, excellent place to stay. The hotel is starting to showing its age. Was very convenient to Kings Dominion, which is where we were taking our grandchildren for the day. The breakfast could have been better."

"The bad: bathroom tub and toilet lid had all the paint cracking off. Also not very clean. I put a towel down to shower. The bed was ok. The floor was sticky. The sliding door window from the floor level was NOT locked so that was concerning. A whole person fits through those windows from the back parking lot. The good: the fridge was a decent size and it has a microwave. Ice was located nearby. Property was easy to locate. The front desk was nice. Overall not great but if its just for one...
