We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Phoenix Palace. Anna, the manager, was incredibly kind and made us feel exceptionally welcome and cared for. She always responded to our requests with an open heart, no matter the time or complexity. Anna is undoubtedly the hotel's greatest asset. Her perfect English, warm smile, and abundant patience create an atmosphere where guests feel more like friends. We'd also like to express our gratitude to Peter for his kind assistance during our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable and boasts an amazing location. It's clean and provides a sense of safety. While the breakfast was enjoyable, we found that the cooking lady wasn't as hospitable as the aforementioned staff members. However, on the whole, we have nothing but positive feedback about this hotel. We highly recommend the Phoenix Palace.

The negative part of staying here was that you could hear everything happening in the halls. And every other night of our stay a family checked in and screamed and yelled while running up and down the halls late at night. Sometimes people were just hanging out in the halls having loud conversations. The walls are quite thin. The positives were that the breakfast was delicious. Small but tasty! The staff were kind and friendly. The location was great. Very close to the lake, shopping and restaurants.

Great A/C and Brekkie!
Phoenix Palace Hotel was a great hotel for my husband and I to explore Hanoi! The staff were very kind and the breakfasts were delicious! So much food!! The rooms were very spacious and had great A/C units! We walked everywhere around the city from this spot-great location!

Great value
This is a great hotel with great staff. The value is also pretty good. Rooms are more spacious than you would get in the heart of the Old Quarter, but the location is still very good and close to landmarks such as the Cathedral. My only complaint is during my stay there was constant construction in the building next door. It was so loud and sounded like it was in my room. It started every day at 7:00 am, and sometimes very late at night. As soon as this construction finishes this will be an amazing place to stay!

Great hotel however there were a couple of nights at a late time that there were workmen making a lot of noise on the construction site next door. Close and handy to walk to sights and eating places.

Friendly staff
Good breakfast. All in all we stayed 5 nights and the first 2 nights we were very happy with the hotel. However, when we came back from Sapa for the last 3 nights, things didn't really worked out well for the first night. The TV wouldn't switch off after watching. Called for help but nothing done. We have no choice but to leave it on the whole night and used the towel to cover the glaring light emitting from the TV. Luckily the staff allowed us to change to another room. Next door is constructing another block and the knocking sound did not stopped even till 10.35pm. And it seemed to happen only during weekdays.

Great hotel with good location
Hotel on a quiet street. Very helpful and friendly staff. Tommy organised all our trips in advanced and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast great with lots of choice. Clean hotel. Would stay there again

Good location in the old quarter of the city
Stay at the hotel was comfortable for our family. All the amenities were nearby. The streets are very busy in this area, with special mention to motor bikes, which overwhelm this city. The people are very friendly and helpful. We had an enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it.Finally special mention to all the staff at the hotel,especially Tommy, for organising and making it an exciting visit.

Very nice, just need better coffee.
Really nice and good value. Only problem was that the coffee at breakfast was undrinkable. Other than that, would recommend.

This extremely well-priced hotel can boast of their excellent service, good breakfast, and comfortable beds. At the edges of the old city, it is in walking distance of many attractions.

Friendly and helpful staffs
The staffs are friendly and helpful. Most of the hotel staffs can communicate in English. 5-10min walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, shopping and drinking area. Good for short business stay. May give a full star for all ratings if not for the noisy renovation beside the building in early morning.

The hotel staff could not be more helpful and polite. Someone was always there to help. The hotel is situated off the main road so it's very quiet in the rooms at night. we walked everywhere in the Old Quarter and enjoyed our stay in Hanoi!

Best hospitality.
The staff was very kind and helpful. This is the first time we come here but they provided for us a free tourist map that made by their own with full of recommendation of museums, markets, restaurants or reliable taxi.. This definitely would be great help for anyone who come to Hanoi for the first time. The room had been well cleaned and beautiful. Location also is also very convenient, such as night markets and historical sites. The breakast was varied and delicios . We really enjoyed our stay here.

Exceptional service by all staff. We booked a family room for four. It was not available due to unforeseen reasons. The manager came to meet us, explained and upgraded us to two rooms. Front desk also helped with other requests without hesitation. They helped us confirm our halongbay cruise which was another nice touch. On our return from cruise their staff came running out to the opposite side of the road just to help us with our luggage.

We booked this hotel at late notice (1 hour) as we learnt on arrival in Hanoi (from London), that our original hotel had closed down! We were apprehensive, as we like some time to do some research in advance before booking hotels. I am so glad that we found this hotel! I can honestly say that I have never felt so welcome, from the moment of arrival, at any hotel in the world (and I've stayed in A LOT). Each and every member of the team of staff was exceptionally welcoming, polite, professional, friendly, efficient and smiled. This felt genuine, not forced, like they enjoyed their job and enjoyed helping their guests. Breakfast is amazing! Coffee, teas, juices, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs any way, daily changing hot choices, local Pho, pastries, pancakes. Rooms and the lobby were 100% clean and wifi 100% available. I can't recommend Phoenix Palace enough. Such good value. But for me, it's the fabulous team of staff and how they made us feel so welcome that really stood out. We would go back!

Great hotel in a good location.
Great location a few minutes walk from the real hustle and bustle. Very courteous staff who are happy to help and very keen to sell tours which is great if you want to go on one. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated with good quality furnishings and beds. Breakfast was included and decent enough. They also offer an airport shuttle service.

Excellent hotel
This stay was excellent. If you are in hanoi, stay here. The staff cannot be more helpful - always asking if there is anything they can do to make your stay more comfortable or any way they can help. I had just been released from hospital and they kindly upgraded us on arrival which was a really nice touch. Bearing in I spent a lot of time in the hotel, this place was very clean, comfortable, and we felt very well looked after. Breakfast was excellent, a lot of choice and yummy yoghurt which is rare to find!

Very satisfied.
Great location, in the heart of the 36 street. Next to a busy street at night though no noise in the rooms.. The room was very clean and very comfortable, far beyond our expectation. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They kept the bags on the last day and even had a shower in the evening

A gem of a hotel.
The Phoenix Hotel in Hanoi is centrally located to explore the city. The room was not very big but it was super clean, comfy bed, very quiet. and the furniture in good condition. The buffet breakfast is good and includes an extra menue for freshly prepared items like pancakes, frensh toast, eggs, omlets, etc. The staff was very friendly and attentive, they are always avaialble for your inquiries. The laundry service was cheap and good also.

Above and beyond.
Perfect hotel in the best location, The rooms are clean, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. the staff was friendly and attentive! We even booked a cruise on Halong Bay through the hotel, everything was excellent. Really nothing to complain about, we highly recommend.

Excellent !
Great location, conveniently located right in the center of the Old Quarter, the room was super clean and very comfortable bed, is also a travel agency, the staff offered and organized our trips to Sapa and Halong Bay as soon as we arrived. The staff is very welcoming and showed us the good addresses in Hanoi, especially to eat a good pho.

Great hotel in great location.
Very good hotel, located, in Hanoi, close to the lake. Full of restaurants in the surrounding. We spent few nights intermittently between different excursions. The hotel offers tours if you have not booked before, very good breakfast, Vietnamese dishes if you wish, and passion fruit and other local fruits. Comfortable rooms, double bed, bathroom with space. We will book this hotel again if we return to Hanoi. :) We highly recommend this hotel.

The best hotel we ever stayed in
For my second stay in Hanoi, we chose without hesitation to return to Phoenix Palace First, for his AWESOME staff friendliness, attentive, and kindness! Then, to the comfortable rooms, well equipped and well maintained, the location, in a quiet street, and close to everything, walking distance such as monuments, museums, shops, grocery stores, restaurants. Also, for hearty breakfasts, all freshly cooked, and at will!! Finally, because it is still better than home!! It really felt very much like home, and the service is AWESOME! Like last year, we organized all my live tours with the hotel, a quality organization, at very reasonable prices in comparison with other local travel agencies such as Halong Bay, Sapa by night train, Ba Be Lake, Along Bay on land, and villages around Hanoi, the hotel driver. Go there with confidence, you will be very satisfied.

Very friendly staff
Very friendly staff who help us on our 1st day in Hanoi. They gave us clear directions on where to get cheap SIM card and where to eat. However, the room is smaller than expected. Upon arrival, the toiletries were also not complete and had to request personally.

Stay was for pleasure. Was supposed to have a family sized room but instead got a small room with a cot wedged inside of it. Bathroom has a windows with blinds that looks into the room which made having the mother in law in the same room very awkward.

Quality of service
Very new hotel where we stayed 4 nights. Room are quite nice and clean with very big window without view but natural light and very quiet. Varied breakfast even if not excellent. What is the focus is the quality of service and friendliness and their hospitality, they fold into 4 to make your life easier, always with a smile.

Absolutely perfect !
Reservation few days, with a couple of trips to other cities and of course kept our luggage without any problems. It is a boutique hotel in the heart of the old quarter. The rooms are quite spacious, equipped with all amenities and very clean as are the bathrooms. buffet was very good with fruit juices and western and oriental specialties. About staff? A group of working people as efficient as charming and loving, whose main aim was to make your stay at the hotel was pleasant, always aware of any details you needed. It would be unfair to mention anyone in particular, but we can not forget Lucy, and Manh. and especially Kevin. Absolutely recommended.

Fantastic stay.
I have been traveling for 7 weeks and this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in so far. The staff was so helpful, rooms are so clean and it was so convenient to have the internet in the room. We had a fantastic trip to Ha Long Bay overnight on boat. Thank you Kevin and his staff I’ll be recommending Phoenix Palace to all my friends.

My stay at the Phoenix was really enjoyable and satisfying on many points. The place is very well located in the Old Quarter center and closed to most of historical site. But the most marked highlight of the hotel is its staff, extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. A service of a great hotel in terms of quality and for a really reasonable price when you book in advance.

Great from start to end
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and everything was always perfect. The hotel is well located in the center of Hanoi. The staff was very welcoming and very friendly, they always did everything to help us. The rooms were very clean and very well equipped. Breakfast was excellent. This is definitely a good choice.

기계실옆 최악의 룸 불편하게 만드는 직원의 태도 비추
젤 꼭대기 기계실 옆에 방을 주셔서 밤에도 아주 시끄럽게 잤어요 친구가 방 옮ㄱㅣ기 귀찮다고해서 걍 지내긴했지만 생각할수록 기분나빠요 그리고 투어가는날 픽업와서 차타려고 하니 동그란안경쓴 단발머리 여직원이 붙잡고 얘길하는데 자기네 호텔도 투어등등 예약가능하니 프론트 이용하라고 하더군요 지금 상품보여줄까?하는데 할말을 잃었습니다 그걸 꼭 나가는 사람 붙잡고 할 이야긴지 원~~영어를 좀 만 더 잘했음 뭐라한소리 하고싶더군요 조식은 한번먹고 맛없어 바로 옆 쌀국수가게가서 먹었어요 그집 쌀국수 진짜 맛있습니다 추천드려요 위치는 여기저기 다니기 편한 위치지만 룸상태 직원의 태도로 다시 가고싶지도 추천하고싶지도 않습니다

Regarding to what you mentioned, please allow us to explain as following: Firstly, Room was loudly in the evening to make you unsleepy. The fact that you made two twin bed rooms , however, we upgraded free one room ( quad room ) and arranged same floor for your group to be easy to contact. It was unlucky, it was you that stayed at the room which was not upgraded. We was sorry for noise from elevator. That night our hotel was busy with customers so they used elevator lot of times. Attitude of room staff: We checked our room staff and they said that they never had negative attitude to you. It may be that you misunderstood what they did. We were sorry if your misunderstanding made you unhappy about our hotel. Many thanks and best regards, Tommy

여기 숙박 하세요~
음..가성비 대비 괜찮아요. 조식도 괜찮은데 조식 서비스는 조금 점수가 떨어지네요. 뷔페 이외에 쌀국수를 먹을수 있는데 이거는 아는 사람만 먹을수 잇어요. 식당에 투숙객이 앉으면 직원이 와서 시킬수 있다 라고 서비스 를 해야 되는데... 그렇지 않아여..한마디로 지 밥그릇 지가 챙겨야 된다고 주방에 가서 직접 이야기 해야 쌀국수 를 줍니다. 그외에는 흠 잡을께 없어요..아주 좋아요
