A stay at the Grand Hyatt Hangzhou is defined by its breathtaking position on West Lake, where the views alone make it unforgettable. Waking to the stillness of the water from your room is pure magic. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, with a sense of understated opulence and thoughtful design. The Grand Club is a standout, offering exceptional service, generous amenities, and a serene space to unwind throughout the day, the only distraction is the children that often accompany parents which is maybe not such a consideration for others paying to upgrade to Club. Our room came with a comfortable bed and excellent linen and towels, which is important to me. With its elegant interiors and unbeatable location just steps from lakeside walks, dining, and shopping, it’s the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience and so glad we booked the stay.

I guess the staff are not well trained during Chinese New Year with many of the staff are on holiday? However, location is excellent, and I must say the concierge service is great.

The location of the hotel is good, next to the West Lake and walking distance to dining places, shopping and a subway station. However, there is a night market right outside the hotel and it is extremely crowded and noisy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and in good condition.
