"The Ferryman's Cottage have cute rooms, which have both heating and cooling if required. We had to keep blinds closed as the pub guests walk past our windows. The bed was comfy and the nespresso machine was very much appreciated. The only drawback is the sound. When other guests are going to their rooms it sounds like they are literally in the same room. We could hear people taking in the room above, but with earplugs all was well. They weren't noisy. The food had been talked up and we had high...

"Stayed here several times nice clean comfortable rooms. Good food and wine."

"Parking was only ok because we arrived late in the day on a Saturday and were able to park on the street outside for free. Any other day and I think you’d have to pay to park on the high street. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Only stayed one night so no complaints. Pinos across the road was excellent for dinner. "

"Lovely hotel staff polite and friendly checking in, our room was very small and a bit tired looking with some of the fittings looking a bit grubby and tatty and some marks on the wall, The bar and restaurant area were very nice and our breakfast was excellent. I would recommend going for an upgraded room hopefully a bit larger than ours."

"In a lovely historic building set within pleasant grounds, especially as the wisteria was in flower. Very helpful staff, lovely room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was perhaps a little disappointing- dry basic with little choice of healthy cereal or cooked food if you are vegetarian. Overall very good though."
