Lovely break in the countryside!
We had a lovely one night stay in the constable room with dinner. The room was clean, comfortable with a large shower and countryside views. The food was delicious and all the staff very friendly. Would recommend 👍

Fabulous!!
Lovely country pub with beautiful rooms. Mine looked out to endless countryside so was so relaxing. Cosy and warm room. I ate in the pub and had a very tasty Thai curry. Great breakfast. Sue was super friendly and customer service was brilliant.

Great venue , Great Food
Great Trip. We stayed here for a nearby Wedding and met with Friends. Was a great venue with evening food and Breakfast very nice. My only advice if you need a taxi staying here is to book in advance as there are not too many great.

The pub was located in the country and so nice and quiet . The room was lovely and clean and the pub food was good . The only issue we had was with the internet which wasn’t working in our room .

Super friendly staff in a lovely, quiet retreat. Beautiful views of the fields and beyond. Restaurant dinner was lovely, cooked with locally sourced produce, likewise for breakfast. Nothing to fault, just wished to have stayed longer.

We we're welcomed from arrival to departure. Landlady and staff we're very friendly. Food and drink was excellent. The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. Jacuzzi was a added feature in the room. Would definitely stay again for a short getaway.

A lovely place but poor value for that price
The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and sitting area and friendly staff. Breakfast was in their pub next door. However, for the price, it was poor value, compared to the many other places we have stayed. No choices of yoghurts or fresh pastries for breakfast and they weren’t particularly generous portions. The meal the night before in their pub was very tasty, well presented food, but not the best value for a pub.

A proper country pub in a lovely location
We wanted a proper country pub and that is exactly what we got! Food was good but I wouldn't rate it as outstanding and we were really cold in the bar where we ate dinner and breakfast in the morning. Our room was tastefully decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the shower room was delightful. Overall I would be happy to stay here again.

Comfortable country pub.
Really lovely country pub. Excellent room, very comfortable with a few added extras. Views from room were wonderful and breakfast piping hot and delicious. Landlady very friendly and great free parking.

A really impressive stay with so many unexpected perks like full english breakfast included & REAL coffee in the room + super modern bathroom facilities. Every single staff member we met was delightful and the view over the fields from our room was outstanding. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place to stay! Excellent location on a quiet road. We felt very welcome and being greeted to a glass of prosecco. The room was huge and tastefully decorated. We found the bed most comfortable. The breakfast was very good, especially the coffee. We also had a dinner, which was also nice.
