"Better than great! Wonderful staff; awesome Icelandic traditions exhibition in dormitory. Great great food by chef Jakob and his crew. Tranquil environment, sheep farm next door. Beautiful and comfortable sauna cottage included. 100% recommend! Thank you for making our trip so much better! Nazanin and fam :))"
"Out of all the places I stayed during my 10-day trip, this was by far the one I was most satisfied with. The room was clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors, and the location was great — very convenient for shopping. I had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this place."
"The hostel is good. The rooms are equipped with the essentials and are mostly clean. The common areas could have been cleaner though. The kitchen is not so well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helped immediately with any problems. I would recommend the hostel for a short stay."

"Self-check in was easy and allowed for flexible arrival time. The room was plenty sufficient for my husband and me in the big bed and 2 sons (ages 17 and 12) in the bunk beds. The two restroom facilities downstairs were clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we appreciated the instant coffee. The area around the hotel felt safe and was near a fuel station and restaurants."
"This was a really special stay. The room was comfortable, clean and airy. We had lovely views of the mountain side. The staff were very welcoming and the meals were delicious. We had breakfast each day in the restaurant and there was plenty of choice of both hot and cold breakfasts. We had dinner on the first night and I had the kamb. It was the best lamb I have ever tasted. I would recommend having at least one dinner at the hotel. The staff were always welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
"Hotel 1001 is ideally located, offering a peaceful atmosphere complemented by exceptional staff. The services, from dinner to breakfast, exceeded expectations.
The room was both comfortable and clean, contributing to a pleasant stay.
I would recommend Hotel 1001 for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway that’s still conveniently close to the town, with beautiful mountain views."
"Amazing property, very clean and feels like a 4 star hotel rather than a guest house. They bake their own home made bread for breakfast. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would :)"
"Probably the most understated hotel we stayed at! The staff are amazing and kind! The rooms clean, breakfast unexpected and the entire premises was awesome! "
