Great location for taking the ferry to Halifax - walkable! Some loud patrons in the hallway late at night - it’s probable that this hotel is being used to house people without homes.

We stayed at double tree for our anniversary it was a nice clean quite hotel. There was a organization hosting homeless population on some floors of hotel but they was all respectful and kept to them selves. Very well organized. Would definitely come agian.

Location was easy to use the ferry. Staff was pleasant, but due to the recent hurricane limited options for late night (after 9pm) dining. Coffee early morning - like 5-6 am would be nice.

Location was great. Close to the ferry to go to Halifax and the McDonald bridge. Room had a balcony and a great view. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. Great idea to have. “Makeup” facecloth too!

The hotel uses the bottom floors as subsidized housing. The lobby and elevators felt like downtown in a city. Smelled of smoke and other things.
