"Great place to stay on Cat Ba island. It’s close enough to town to walk to restaurants yet away from all the massive construction sites so it’s quiet. The hotel is beautiful. Comfortable modern rooms and fantastic breakfast buffet. The beach is nice too. The staff were very nice and amazingly helpful. Highly recommend!"

"Cannot emphasize enough how incredible the stay at Cat Ba View Hotel was, and this is all credited to the amazing and hard working staff. When we arrived, Nam changed our room to give us a balcony and a view. He also gave us an overview of the island and the spots to check out. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast (recommend the chicken soup) and came back from our day to a fresh and clean room. Many thank-you’s."

"Don’t judge a property by its pictures. The property offered early check in which was nice. The property is across from a four year construction project. Not their fault but also not mentioned in write ups. Huge eye sore. Noisy. Work was late into the night. No beach access so had to walk or shuttle .4 miles to closest beach. Roof top pool needed shocking and vacuuming, algae was present. The bathroom shower had mold growing in it and needs a good scrubbing. The staff were pleasant and helpful when asked questions. Towels were readily supplied as no beach towels available. Although rooms were non smoking the hall way was clearly not and reeked of smoke. For the price compared to other properties in the area, this certainly was not a value for the money. Breakfast was included and plentiful. "
