"Quirky place, halls of residence for students now used as hotel rooms Nice and clean, spacious rooms and well appointed, decor is maybe getting a little tired but no real complaints Breakfast was fabulous All the staff were happy and very courteous and allowed me to leave my car well after check out time so I could attend an appointment It's a nice place to stay with great views over the Menai Straits "

"My parents loved their two night stay for my Father's 70th. Staff Darren and team were highly professional and personable. Easy parking. Excellent food, perfect for visiting Portmeirion and nearby places. My parents would highly recommend it and cannot talk highly enough of their time "

"There were power cuts in the village which caused a multitude of problems for the staff but they went the extra mile and did everything they could to make all the guests as comfortable as possible. On that basis alone, we would highly recommend. "

"Got to hotel only to be told by staff that the twin bedroom I had booked wasn't available and that they only had a double room for us. Had to complain to the manager to get them to change it. Shame as the room was clean tidy and had good facilities."

"The room was spotless,spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. It had a very large shower and bath. Shampoo was provided along with body wash and bath salts. The towels were spotless.The room had everything that you needed such as tea and coffee, buscuits and a hair dryer. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was amazing. Would definately ho back and recommrnd to others."
