"We had a lovely room, with lots of character. Staff were friendly and helpful at checkin and checkout. The hotel overall has a good ambience, with nice grounds and Truro is centrally located in Cornwall. The breakfast was excellent too."

"Really pleased with our stay at Royal Duchy Hotel. The staff were all absolutely brilliant, friendly and helpful. Our room was massive and very clean and had everything we needed. Both a large shower and a large bath in our room. Facilities area and pool also very nice. Free dry robes to borrow, if needed, were a nice touch, although we didnt use them this time unfortunately. Cooked breakfast was the nicest we ever tasted! Sausages were gigantic and amazing quality, again waiting staff were very accommodating and helpful. Location brilliant! Parking was easy as they have plenty of spaces. Overall we are extremely pleased with our stay and will be staying again in the future! "

"Clean,spacious room with an amazing view of the harbour and estuary.Friendly and efficient service at the reception and the two requests made were dealt with as requested.
Only had breakfast in the hotel and that was of good quality although a bit disappointed that there was not a more plentiful supply of fruit-just a small portion which you could only have if you did not choose another option such as granola.
Other than that,really enjoyed our stay."
