"My room had such a beautiful view and was very comfortable. The staff were great. The location is a short walk to the museum, shops, and port. I hope to stay at Variante again soon. One thing: if you are arriving from the metro (Konak Station) you will walk up very steep hills to get to the hotel. It is a good workout!"

"The property was very nice and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a bottle of wine and snacks for our anniversary celebration which was very generous of them. Parking and getting to the hotel is a bit tricky but it's a Valet parking free of charge so was very helpful. "

"Good location and interior. Especially impressed with the shower with new and clean marble. Room equipped with items that is practical, useful and good quality. Not many hotels provide so many items anymore and most of them just put a notice to call house keeping if we need anything of which is discouraging guest to request due to the trouble. Only slacking is housekeeping which mainly only do up the bed and not cleaning the basin well or replaced item which was used."

"Das Einzige, was uns im Hotel nicht gefallen hat, war das schwache WLAN. Hier solltet ihr unbedingt etwas unternehmen. Wir reisen 5–6 Mal im Jahr nach Izmir und möchten ab jetzt nur noch bei euch übernachten. Auch unseren Freunden würden wir euer Hotel sehr gerne empfehlen – aber das WLAN sollte dafür wirklich verbessert werden. "

"Clean room ,great staff, great location. Good breakfast but little to no meat as common in Türkiye. Great emergency plan as I was lucky enough to have the 6.1 earthquake one night at 11 pm. Staff was directing us to stairs and directing us to outside. Dispensing water quickly to guests which indicated very good training and good leadership. Great job !! "

"If you are visiting Izmir (Smyrna) for its historic significance, this is the hotel for you. It is across the street from the historic Agora site that is well worth visiting, with artifacts and buildings and arches dating from the time of Alexander the Great. It is also located in the middle of the historic market/bazaar Kemeralti Market, an adventure, delicious and lots of fun. This area feels totally removed from modern, commercial business center Izmir. The staff is amazing and goes...

"Konakladigim en iyi otellerden biriydi. Isteklerim dikkate alinmisti, tum calisanlar guler yuzlu ve yardimseverdi. Konum olarak zaten cok guzel bir muhitteydi. Oda ve yatak gayet temiz ve konforluydu, tek sorun banyodan gelen kokuydu. Yine de gonul rahatligi ile tercih edebilirsiniz, her sey icin tesekkurler."
