The hotel (and specifically the floor where we were sleeping) was being remodeled during our visit. It's hard to believe they expect guest to stay in the middle of a work zone.

Don't believe the pictures! Once you arrive, you know that this is obviously a motel in the state of disrepair and decline. The lobby is closed for remodeling maybe, or maybe a cost saving measure.
