"Friendly and generous staff with a high attention to detail and comfort. This is an exceptional property for an authentic Mexico experience. The service, food and rooms will transport you away from home and into another country filled with love and professionalism. The grotto pool has a small footprint but is deep, beautiful and comfortable to swim and lay around in. "We had a great stay at Mapache. The private room was spacious and clean. The staff were lovely and helpful. We also loved the daily activities and the small breakfast included was a bonus. Would recommend Mapache to anyone staying on Holbox. I've only just found out the Mapache means racoon though! "
