Amazing couple days spent at this tranquil location in China. Ryan who communicated with us was most helpful in arranging pick up and drop off from station. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and made our trip effortless.

Excellent stay

This is an excellent hotel for a getaway. Extremely helpful staff that goes all the way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. They will organize a car to pick you when you are unable to get a cab, prepare breakfast before the restaurant is open, help you on photo shooting.

Everything was perfect. Great restaurant, great location, great rooms and facilities, breathtaking scenery and most important of all; the most helpful staff I have ever experienced. It was literally like being welcomed into a family. They helped us book stuff, and even sent my wallet to another hotel with the mail when I forgot it in my room. Probably the biggest recommendation I have ever written :)

Wonderful hotel away from the hustle and bustle in Tuen, but close enough to walk to things. very well appointed rooms, beautiful views as advertised in the photos, with not blocked by other buildings, the beautiful gardens in front and access to the river walkways were a big plus, staff fluent in english, very good food in their hotel restaurant, (much better than offsite options). I spent three very relaxing days there during a busy first trip to China, doing a bit of tai chi. There were several other wellness and craft activities on offer.

From the moment we arrived, Karlie made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. She was always ready to help us throughout our stay. The hotel had a wonderful blend of traditional charm and modern style. Renting an electric scooter provided by the hotel was easy and allowed us to explore the area at our own pace. We initially worried about getting around without a car, but many attractions are easily accessible by foot, bike, or scooter. The region offers a variety of tourist activities, yet still feels authentic and not overly commercialized. A highlight was the proximity to the evening river show. On one occasion, dinner was kindly prepared for us even after the restaurant kitchen had closed. We always felt well cared for and would not hesitate to book again for a future visit. We hope to come back some time in the future! Thank you Karlie.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in, the room is so clean with good amenities. Staffs are so friendly and the breakfast was satisfactory because it had a limited choice of western food. The view is amazing from the restaurant. And the hotel has two lovely dogs and a chubby cat. If you are looking for a place to have a peaceful vacation in Yangshuo, you shall definitely choose Zen Garden Resort. I will definitely come there again.
