Airport shuttle is clean, new and on time. However, finding the location to catch it in the airport is a bit tricky. It is located on the third floor at the departure set down at Stop 46, not the ground level where there are a fleet of commercial buses with very impatient drivers. It takes a 10- minute bus drive to Novotel. I stayed for about 10 hours overnight to catch the next flight at 6:40am.

Great location attached to airport. Run shuttle to Canton Fair. Its a 40 minute trip but the saving on inflated central city prices for Canton Fair weeks makes it worth the travel time. Only complaint i would make is the breakfast. Great selection but food is always cold. Order an omelet, its made in front of you but it will be warm

So happy I reserved the hotel room since I knew I would be exhausted after a 28 hour trans-Pacific transit and arriving at 12:30am local time. The free airport shuttle bus brought me right to the front door of Novotel and registration was a breeze at that hour. The room was spacious, clean and had contemporary decor and furnishings, along with plenty of electrical outlets and outlets to plug-in the power cord directly. They provide robes, slippers and 2 bottled waters. The rate was a little high for Guangzhou but worth every cent. I highly recommend Novotel Baiyun, they do it right!

The room is spacious and modern. It’s a wonderful hotel with great service and connected to the Pullman hotel with shared gym. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It was perfect to rest for a late night arrival.
