Best hotel close to CAN airport
If you looking for hotel close to Bayiun airport, then this is the place to stay. The service is impeccable, the employees are extremely professional and helpful. The rooms super clean, breakfast is delightful.

If you need a hotel near Gyuangzhoju's Baiyun International Airport the Phoenix is a must. The hotel and staff are adept AT handling those who come and go to and from the airport. shuttle buses run every half hour (free) beginning at 0400. Rooms are modern, large, well equipped, good wireless. A tasty moderately prices Cantonese restaurant. An English speaking Assitant Manager at the front desk - many of the regular staff also speak English including the restaurant that has a Chinese/English menu. All that for a value priced rate with pictures.

Had three rooms on the 5th non-smoking floor. Two facing the street and one in the back. Significant street & airplane noise during the day till early morning. During the night, one room had cigarette smoke coming through the vents. Room was clean and large. The bathroom was big. Wifi okay. Hotel restaurant food okay and priced above average. Service slow and staff did not speak English. There's nothing around this area. I book this hotel because we had an early flight out the next morning. Stayed at Pullman when we arrived in China. Country Garden room price better than Pullman, but Pullman has better location with easier access to the metro and quieter rooms.

OK for one night.
The local area is closed to airport and is under construction. So the traffic is horrible and the shuttle is not on schedule during peak hours. Hotel is new and clean, staffs are nice. Hair dryer only works for 2 minutes then stop, needs cool down to avoid over head.

If you are staying to go to the airport, this is overpriced. Many hotels nearby at lower price. The dinner is way overpriced for Guangzhou. As in many places, not all, it refuses to accept Western credit card.

Nice hotel close to CAN
The hotel is clean and offers airport pick up. However, due to the closeness to the airport, the nights can be a bit noisy for sensible people due to the airplanes flying over.

A very good airport hotel.
Being an airport hotel you cannot expect much for location. All other aspects are very good. Airport pick and drop are on dot. Service excellent.

Amazing property
This hotel is amazing! Unfortunately our flight was severely delayed due to weather but we checked in at 6 am and were able to shower, rest and enjoy a wonderful breakfast. They were nice enough to put us in an incredible suite. The suite was unspeakably beautiful, extremely well appointed and comfortable. We had a little trouble adjusting the a/c but we were so tired we didnt care. We will definitely stay here on our next trip! Note: English was very limited but staff was wonderful and we managed fine. Also several reviewers noted that the property was hard to find. Our driver simply called the hotel and got easy directions so be sure to bring the phone number and address in Chinese.

Nice hotel
Great hotel and awesome breakfast. A little hard to find and the shuttle service is not so reliable, we had to take taxi to the hotel, the whole way the driver was complain that cannot find the hotel.

Nice hotel close to the airport.
Being very near to the airport, sometimes is a little noisy due to aircrafts landing. But it's OK for business trip and very well located.

The Hotel is good quality, buffet and gymnasium were good. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Service was good. Only issue was getting to the hotel from the airport. Unfortunately as an English only speaker I found it difficult to find and use the shuttle service from the airport. I also discovered that getting a taxi was also difficult. It took 6 different taxi divers before finding one who knew where the hotel was even with a map on my phone. Please note: taxi's require payment in cash likely no more than 100 should be sufficient.

It was ok overall, we didn't have any chance to explore the hotel because we were there the night before our very early flight the next morning, staffs were great and helpful. The reason i booked this hotel is because its close to the airport and offer free shuttle to the airport form 5am on.

Country Garden Airport Phoenix Hotel - Guangzhou
Great economical Hotel to stay at! 4 star hotel at 2 star pricing for the time we were there. I would have no problem staying there again, close to the airport and a free shuttle to boot. Awesome free breakfast buffet with a great selection of western cuisine! Wear a sweater or light jacket though, very cool in the restaurant.

Good hotel before the flight
A very nice hotel nearby the airport, also have car to pickup from and to the airport hourly. Staffs are very friendly and professional, would stay again next time.

Close to airport - clean and comfortable
Standard of hotel and rooms was very good for the price. It is not far from the airport and offers a free shuttle to the airport every 30min/1 hr depending on the time of day. No English channels on tv and little to do in local area, but many travelers use this hotel just to transit as I did so was not worried by this. Also currently a lot of roadworks so during daylight hours there is noise from one side of the hotel however when asked to move to non-road side of the hotel I was immediately changed to a quieter room. Service at hotel restaurant was average and slow, but food was good. If there is a conference on at the hotel, try to find out when they will be using the restaurant and avoid that time.
