Had really high hopes for this property from reading the amazing reviews, but sadly we had an average stay.
We recently had x3- 1 bedroom apartments booked. Rooms are not consistent in layout and design. They are semi modern in design. The Interiors are starting to age with old wallpaper tearing, chip marks. Basic cleaning is done but other areas were regular cleaning isn’t done post check out needs to be reviewed by management. Our room we had noise issues from an apartment upstairs with a guest on the phone at 2am (for an hour), woke us up, this happened two nights. Our friends in another room had issues with mostiques in their room 7 floors up. breakfast is buffet style, with western and Asian food options. The food quality was pretty average, the freshest items available was the fruit and yoghurt. These are only. Few of the issues we faced, there were more.
The plus side is the location of the hotel, 3mins to metro and short walk to canton tower, supermarket a short walk. We have stayed in two other apartment hotels in Guangzhou over the last 5years and this one sadly didn’t reach the mark. They really need to address, breakfast, cleaning, reception staff English abilities, and update the rooms to match other property’s available at a better price point.
