"Perfect for a late night arrival into Costa Rica. 4 minutes from the airport (I took a taxi, as they don’t have a shuttle pickup). The staff upon arrival was kind enough to help arrange transport to my next location (a ride to Quepos for $200). The shower was amazing - hot water and fantastic water pressure. And breakfast was the best - Nelly was so kind and the food a perfect introduction to Costa Rican cuisine. Enjoyed the pool under the mango tree. Pura vida!"

Under property information it states that they provide tour assistance when in reality all they provide is a car service and nothing else you have to do your homework on what’s to do in the area.We were also promised a to go breakfast but at check out there was nothing left for us. "They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Excellent self serve buffet breakfast with wide variety of hot and cold food options and even some cook to order items (eg. eggs cooked to order).
