"The neighborhood the hotel was in was a little difficult to get to, even though you can see it. You have to drive through some other parking lots to get there. A number of things around it are run down or closed. The hotel itself seems to be kept nice. The check-in process was smooth. The elevator smelled like some people had used some "herbal medicine" in it. It was less than pleasant. Breakfast was adequate, and the staff was somewhat attentive to taking care of things, more so than most...

"This place was the pits. You walked in and the smell of marijuana was so strong, You could barely breathe. When we got into the room, there was a great big cockroach in the bathroom, and the toilet seat had to be bolted back on because it was very very loose. The towels in the bathroom were so thin that you could see through them. The carpet in the hallway were so dirty and greasy kinda look like they were used for oil changes. "After being woke up at 2am and again at 4:45am by the guest next door, I was informed he is dropped off by his father and the hotel “babysits” him until someone comes back to pick him up. It could be days before someone returns. The night manager and the day manager both stated he has mental issues. I was unaware of this property being a “safe house” facility and would have reserved my one night stay somewhere else that wasn’t as expensive. I paid more thinking it would be a better experience...

"My husband and I use this hotel as a getaway from our busy lives. The rooms are dark, cool, and so quiet. You can’t ask for a friendlier and more professional staff.
