"Staff was amazing, and communication during and after booking was excellent. The building (built in 1830) was excellently maintained, and furnishings/decor struck the perfect balance between period and modern. The included breakfast was cooked and served in the upstairs dining room (former ballroom/meeting room). Parking was adequate and on site. "Nice staff, spacious clean room. Bathroom was very small and did not have any space even for a waste basket, but there was a nice sink console right outside with everything you would need, counter space, large mirror, hair dryer, and yes, a wastebasket, too. There was a squeak from the bottom of the bathroom door, easily fixable, but a little irritating at night. Bed was big and comfortable, the room was very spacious and clean, our stay was very good."

"The carpet in the hall is blue but so threadbare it is white before each door. The windows you can barely see out of they are so dirty. The wallpaper is falling off the wall with many dings and dents in the walls, lampshades. 5 pillows and one was yellowish. A huge rip in my curtains. rips on the chair at the desk. Hard to believe this place is 170 a night. Very disappointed to stay here."
