Some of the best customer service I have ever seen. They worked to find me two extra days when my trip was extended. Friendly and helpful desk staff. Very clean and modern rooms. No AC but a large fan was supplied. Flawless room and building. Beautiful and lively neighbourhood with many shops and restaurants.

Lovely property in a great location within a 10 min walk to train station. Penthouse apartment was wonderful. Full kitchen was very useful with grocery store nearby. Very comfortable with a great view.

Pick your room with care
We’d stayed here before and liked it. But seems to very much depend which room you get. This trip we had two different rooms over 4 days (we’d made two different bookings) and the 1st room was supposed to be the fancier (more expensive) room. Frankly we preferred the 2nd room much better. Good location and not bland like so many other hotels :) Would recommend.

Lovely, unique place to stay.
Very cool place to stay in Groningen - comprised of apartments along the same street as the reception and restaurant in historic buildings. Really lovely and unique. We were there in August, but had to good fortune to encounter relatively mild weather so were very comfortable. But as you'll see in other reviews, the apartments don't have air conditioning (it's not permitted in these historic buildings) so beware staying here in very hot weather. Our apartment was up a very steep flight of stairs - very charming and Dutch - and a member of the staff was kind enough to lug my very heavy bag up those stairs. But be sure to ask on making a reservation about how many floors up your room is if you're concerned about the climb. The staff was also very helpful in making restaurant recommendations - their helpfulness made our stay even better.

Modern Vibe in Historic Setting
The hotel is located in a wonderful area, right along the canal. The architecture blends nicely into the existing historic context. We had a deluxe room for our stay. It was clean, comfortable and had a nice balcony overlooking the canal. We’d highly recommend for your trip to the beautiful Groningen!

Disappointing room
I was disappointed with our room in Hotel Miss Blanche. The photos give high expectations, but unfortunately the reality was not so good, and the furniture in our room was rather basic. The rooms are spread across different buildings in a small area along the canal, and I guess that the time of refurbishment differs depending on which building the room is in. We stayed in a double room, and the window looked into a small courtyard with very tall walls so not much natural light made it to into our room. In addition, there was walkway right outside our window, meaning it was not possible to leave the curtains fully open. And to make things even worse, the lighting in the room was "romantic" even on the highest brightness, so that it felt quite dingy even in the middle of the day. The bed was also incredibly soft which is okay for some, but causes back problems for others (me included). The location and staff were great, but I wouldn't recommend to stay here because of the room.

Great concept. Several small but new apartment buildings in a surrounding square. Each floor has no more than 2 or 3 individual units. Big spacious and clean. Staff could not have been more helpful.

Superb hotel with a difference.
A rather quirky hotel spread over several buildings. The rooms are large and comfortable with good furnishings and more than enough seating. The location is excellent with good access to public transport. Staff are very helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay.

A beautiful stay—-we had the gigantic two bedroom suite. Modern styling and modern building right on the canal (which likely is noisy on weekends) and a gorgeous, huge, first rate apartment, well decorated, great beds, full living and dining room and kitchen, fantastic bath. And absolutely lovely staff. Expensive but very very nice apartment.

Perfect home away from home
We were in Groningen for my niece's graduation, and were meeting family in town. The suite had a comfortable sitting and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen area, enabling us to prepare breakfast and lunch there, and to do some light entertaining. The location could not be better, central to everything. There is a bakeshop and grocery store across the street, a restaurant downstairs, and a cafe along the Gracht around the corner. Miss Blanche's management was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early, and tending to out luggage on the day of our departure, while we had business to take care of. Ine of the best experiences I have had. Highly recommend. One note: it can be noisy at night due to the location. Light sleepers may need to request a suite that doesn't face the street.

Brilliant place to day
A very high standard accommodation, perfect location close to City centre and bars/restaurants. Everything was of high standard in this Suite. I would highly recommend and for the first time I have booked somewhere that has met exactly what the description says. You can stay here comfortably for a week, lots of storage space for clothes, apartment is fully equipped for cooking and even a fantastic coffee machine. The Maid came in every day and we were left with fresh towels and tea/coffee/ milk topped up. I cannot fault this, the only thing I would mention is that the stairs to the accommodation are very steep so maybe not good for elderly people, but of course not a problem for me, I would stay there again without hesitation. Loved it !

Beautifully appointed apartment with spacious sitting room. Excellent proximity to centrum and restaurants, although that meant some street noise at night. Scenic canal right at the front door, and parking was available nearby (don't try to park on the street). Wonderful place with incredibly helpful staff.

Great studio apartment with kitchen, sitting area, and washer and dryer in room. It had a high quality oven, stove top, coffee maker, and fridge. It had all the essential items to make a meal, including knives, can opener, pots & pans, etc. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. There was even Google Chromecast available.

On trend decor and super comfortable
This hotel is actually a series of small suites scattered throughout historic buildings in the heart of Groningen. The decor is absolutely on trend and lovely, with modern touches mixed with antiques. The bed was extremely comfortable and the full-size kitchen (even with combination microwave/convection oven) very convenient! There is a grocery store/food shop across the street from the building I stayed in, open until 10 pm every evening, which is super convenient when you don't want to eat out. Overall, loved this hotel and will return next time I'm in Groningen.
