Mattress very uncomfortable,had a job to get to sleep, cobwebs in room. Shower not working properly, and meal in evening was not what I ordered and they wouldn’t reduce the cost. So a bit disappointed.

A lovely overnight stay for us, just a shame we arrived late evening so couldn’t really make the most of the facilities! Fabulous evening meal and reasonably priced then a lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend

Lovely and quiet area, plenty of parking, beautiful grounds. Friendly reception, clean, well decorated rooms. Nice bathroom. Bed slightly soft for my taste, but slept ok. Restaurant is a separate building next to bedrooms and is impressive and cosy. Service was very good. Food was nice, and plentiful of options. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

As someone who travels with work around the country this one of my favourite places to stay. Friendly staff, lovely rooms, nice bar & restaurant on site, reasonable price....cant fault it!

Recommended stay.
A very nice boutique hotel about 20mins drive from Grimsby. Nice welcome, great food and a lovely breakfast. Lovely star from check-in, restaurant and reception. Only drawback was a noisy fan in the bathroom but I'm being a bit picky now. Not a massive issue but worth a look from the maintenance people on site. Heating goes off early which may be an issue for some but found the room, bed etc. all very comfortable. Definitely return when next in the area.

What a gem. If you are staying in the part of the country stay here. Head and shoulders above anywhere else we have stayed whilst visiting family in Lincolnshire. Tucked away down a lane past the church the property is lovely - it is quiet and opens out to open farmland and countryside. Room was lovely, spacious, modern and clean. Staff were amazing and ever helpful. The hotel has a restaurant across the courtyard from the hotel and the food was wonderful. We are vegan and they had options for us as well as our none vegan family who joined us for dinner. You would have to travel a long way to have a better meal. We will be back here - hopefully soon.

Great place, good staff... one major issue though
We booked a Deluxe room and the room itself was great, although the hotel was basically empty yet they still stuck us in a room next to an external entrance door. Bathroom was fabulous, breakfast was very good. One major issue was that under the top sheet we found dried blood spots on the mattress protector. Very concerning, as these were pretty obvious, and would have been visible when changing the sheets. This spoiled what was a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful small hotel!
A really pleasant change from big chain hotels. Personal and friendly, beautiful room, real quality furnishings. I understand the hotel is used as a wedding venue some weekends, I can see why, the setting is remote and pretty. The breakfast was cooked to order (always a plus!) and was varied and well presented. There is a bar and restaurant on site and a nice outdoor space to sit if the weather allows

Very quiet and exceptional customer service from both hotel & restaurant staff. Fish & chip deal on the friday night is the best we've ever had. would highly recommend this hotel

We appreciated the great staff ( Parris) and the cleanliness of the room. However, we paid for a deluxe room with a king bed. Instead we were given a standard room, While both rooms had the four poster bed, the one we had was def. not a king bed. I questioned the owner when I checked out and he said the bed was a UK king size. Def not the case. It was a standard double. Only 2 rooms were occupied the night we stayed and they could easily have honored the booking. But the owner was so defensive I was intimidated and let it go. Enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant but our sea bass was a bit old and had the tail end for $18.50/plate. Overall - cleanliness good. Nice and modern bathrooms. Just not as booked.

Hot Nights Near Grimsby.
Very nice place to stay; clean, comfortable and in a quiet location. Friendly welcome and service, breakfast and evening meals very good. I have marked it down slightly on comfort because the heating in the room was much too high and the radiator kept on belching heat out even when I turned the valve fully off. Seems unnecessary, the receptionist was aware of the problem.
