"The pictures are very deceiving - as they are of the Guesthouses not the main hotel. I thought I was booking at an Inn, but I was really booked at a regular ole chain hotel. One that charges $8 per person per day for their pool! (you should really change this policy for paying overnight guests - why should we pay additional for facilities like this?) "A good value overall. One issue. Upon check-in, I noticed our television wasn’t working. I immediately emailed and they replied quickly, saying that it would be fixed the following morning. Upon returning from a day out, we had exactly one channel. It remained that way for the balance of the trip and they ignored polite requests for some nominal money back. "

"Great location in central Manhattan. Our room could have been cleaner and we found random dirt items including old contact lenses on the floor of our room suggesting the floors hadn’t been cleaned. There were also dirt markings all over the white walls and stains on table tops and the chair. Otherwise I would consider staying here again given the location, safety of the property, and price. "
