It’s not in the city (about 15min drive) and that’s the beauty of this place: it’s away from touristy stuff, and in the middle of nature, but close enough to the city that you can always go and visit. "I had a great week in the downtown Hilton in Greenville, it's perfectly convenient to the sights, shops and restaurants in the area and parking is a doddle. The hotel is very comfortable and active, there is a Ruth's Chris restaurant in the lobby, which is fabulous, and a very popular roof terrace bar. There's the added convenience of a guest laundry on the same floor as the pool. The only disappointment is the breakfast, not enjoyable, but there's a good fridge in the rooms. "
