A nice place overall! Accomodations were basic. Bed was very comfortable. Had problem with shower - water was draining very slow. Staff was very friendly. Felt relaxed.

One of the first entrants to chichi boutique hotel/motels on the NorthFork, the age is starting to show. The property is not handicap accessible. Loose stone driveway, unmarked parking and no handicap spots at all. A small outdated tv, todays standards. No coffee machine in the room and no ice machine location listed in any of the electronic only media available. If you not getting enough text messages just wait you will get plenty from them. Hopefully this once great new kid on the block will get the update it needs.

Thank you for your review George. Our vintage hotel is fully handicap accessible, with accessible rooms, elevator, ramps, designated parking, and other facilities that meet ADA requirements. Regarding the frequency of text messages, we understand this can be frustrating. However, we provide guests the option to opt-out of our guest communication journey during their stay. We aim to strike a balance between providing a personalized experience and respecting guest preferences, and we will review our protocols to improve in this area. The Greenporter was a perfect location for our weekend stay. Walking distance to cute shops, restaurants and the harbor, and a short drive from many fun activities like wineries and wandering the waterfronts. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property with amazing staff! My husband, toddler and I loved the hotel and will definitely be returning. The attached restaurant served us drinks by the outdoor fire at night and were so accommodating with our toddler. We would have stayed another night if the weather was not going to be so bad.

Our stay here was great! The staff was so friendly and so helpful. We really enjoyed the pool area and how close the hotel was to the main area of town. The hotel is a 2-3 minute walk to the main area of restaurants and shops in town. The hotel also has bikes for guests to use free of charge, which was great! Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely be back. I look forward to the hotel restaurant and bar opening.

The staff at the hotel make this a wonderful stay. They were extremely attentive to our needs. The main reception area and the pool are both lovely and well maintained. The room was slightly dated, and could use a bit more lighting when you don’t benefit from sun coming in; but perfectly suitable for a short trip.

I was first given a room that was way worse than what I expected, it turned out to be a an employees room, with one chair, no desk and no fridge _ for two people. Staff members were friendly, but many had no experience. Cleaning was available per request, even overflowing garbage cans were empried once in five days, because I asked.
