"The room was too warm and the cool air didn’t work nor could I open the window "

"The room was ready and clean when we arrived. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. We needed a transfer from the KTel bus station due to a taxi strike and Maria at the hotel was very prompt and responsive in helping us get to the hotel. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was very good. The hotel is located at the boardwalk and near the ferries. We travelled in March, so we did not need air conditioning."

"Hôtel très vieux (et non vieillissant), extrêmement mal insonorisé et méritant une très importante rénovation !!! Le niveau actuel n'est même pas d'un 2 étoiles. Seul point positif : la sympathie du personnel. Pour le reste, rien ne va et on se croirait dans un vulgaire hôtel d'un pays de l'Est, bas de gamme, de l'époque communiste. C'est navrant... Petit-déjeuner immangeable. "

"We would absolutely stay at the Poseidon Athens hotel again. We loved the proximity to the beach. The hotel was quaint and had fabulous staff. They could have not been more helpful, particularly as we navigated a taxi strike! The breakfast was incredible and so fresh. The hotel is very close to the tram line that goes directly into the heart of Athens, making it a very affordable and convenient way to travel. "

"Beautiful location and great service, with great potential. This boutique hotel is built extremely well, and with only a little effort, has the potential to be exceptional. The pool, breakfast were great. The room decor (like cheap chandelier lights) look out of place and dated. The entry door handle fell off when we closed the door. The biggest issue was that our towels smelled like bacteria-laden dirty rags. Although we were quickly given replacement towels, the smelly ones should never have...

"The location is absolutely beautiful, the food delicious and the staff were amazing and helpful. They even packed us takeaway breakfasts when we had early morning excursions. Not to mention the stunning beach and the wonderful view of the Temple of Poseidon. We visited at the end of the September and the water was still so warm. Such a hidden gem. We didn't want to leave."
