The hotel was very clean and staff were very attentive,however we stayed in room 110 which was a first door overlooking the beach.unfortunately the music from the bar was quite loud until 12:15.for a 4 star hotel I wouldn’t want this

Friendly service
The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a seaview room which was nice but noisy from outside and the bar attached to the hotel. Very convenient location.

Very good hotel
I was surprised at everything about the hotel how good it was. The staff were extra friendly and nothing too much trouble. What I was surprised about was the attention to detail. Tea served with hot water not many places do that. The manager or owners need a pat on the back for making this a lovely hotel. Nothing to do with the hotel, WE didn’t like Great Yarmouth very much. SHAME as the hotel was lovely.

Excellent Stay at the Prom
Clean spacious front facing room with a small balcony. The double bed was very comfortable, the ensuite had a choice of bath or shower. Excellent breakfast served in the morning will definitely stay again when back in Great Yarmouth.

Family suite
Nice hotel and perfect location for exploring the town centre, still walkable distance to the pleasure beach. Family suite was really good and consists of 2x separate rooms (both with key card entry) but doors can be propped open if needed and still has the key card main front door for security. Only slight downside is the view from both rooms wasn't great. Excellent bar downstairs and breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had.

Not for a quiet stay
The hotel looks tired from the outside, inside there has been lots of modernisation and was very nice On check in we were advised that a singer would be in the bar that evening, this started at 8:30 and went on until 12 midnight, Sunday morning 8:30 the pier arcade started playing a loop of loud music, this continued until after breakfast. The king size bed was small and the mattress uncomfortable, Staff were friendly and breakfast was very good Parking may be an issue during your stay As the hotel is on the front there is associated noise of a busy resort Overall though a lovely stay

Wonderful stay, aad we only got to stay for one night. Rooms beautifully clean, loads of space for a family. Staff were lovely especially the ladies who did the breakfast in the mornings. Will return in the summer

We have stayed here a few times over the years & would not stay anywhere else in Great Yarmouth. The Prom is brilliant in everywhere. Staff/food first class! Breakfast waitress Joan, is so hardworking & fantastic with all guests. She explains everything & is very polite/ bubbly. Bar staff/waiting staff are all amazing. So friendly happy & welcoming. We felt so comfortable sitting in the bar. Food is absolutely lovely, good quality, hot and delicious. Maids, were very polite & very thorough. Thank you very much, to every single member of staff at The Prom. You're all doing a great job!

An excellent place to stay in Great Yarmouth
A surprising good hotel. Fully deserves its 4 star rating. We stayed for 3 nights bed and breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean, there was a good selection of food on offer for breakfast and all staff were polite and helpful .

The Hotel is an older building but you can see that the owners have spent some money updating some facilaties. The bar is great and have a wide selection of drinks and cocktails. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will happily stay again.
