"They let me leave my suitcase before checking in properly since i arrived a couple hours earlier than i expected. No additional surcharges, i was able to prepay over the phone so all i needed was my id and a signature, all in all, for a 2 and a half night stay, it was really excellent!"

"Kitchen was great. Very clean. Everyone in the hospital was respectful of one another. I didn't bring my pet but something tells me she probably would have been welcome. The staff, the staff was great the owners are great. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in a nice clean quiet place that is inexpensive and yet very Central and possesses all the amenities one could want. Down to earth people."

"I really enjoyed my stay. I found it amusing to rate my stay with five stars when my cell (aka room) was tiny and literally full of bed which left only a tiny space between it and the metallic door, but it was part of the fun of staying in this jail and I loved it :D A bonus to my stay was friendly staff and a tour of the facilities."

"My first US Hostel experience. It was a busy weekend and the Hostel directions to checkin worked great. The hostel was quiet for a good sleep. No issues with privacy in the bunk area or bathrooms and no overnight disruptive noise! It was a great lower cost option in Duluth. Just a couple blocks off of the walking trail and restaurants"

"I need a shower, to charge electronics, and get some sleep. That was all present. Thanks Parkdale. However, the especially pleasant thing was they were not too hidebound on the check out check in times. It meant I get to sleep in (needed), go get a coffee, journal and meditate, and go for an explore on Sunday morning. I also got to sort out my itinerary when I got back. There's security--key locks to get into the dorm. A friendly common area. "

"What a great find in Duluth! The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, the shower water was hot, and the kitchen area was appreciated. The staff were so kind and helpful! I enjoyed the bar, gift shop, and outdoors focused ambiance. The only downside was that I could hear my neighbors at times, but for the price and value it wasn't a big deal. I'll be back!"
