"The room was impeccable, cleanest we have stayed in a long time . Bed comfortable , TV options , refrigerator, micro all in great working order , shower hot with excellent water pressure ."

"So disappointed in what they have done to this once beautiful hotel. It had so much personality. Not now. It is now a Comfort Inn and it looks awful. The room was clean but no coffee maker. The worst part is you could not use the hallways in the morning to go to breakfast. You had to go outside to get to the breakfast area. Glad it wasn't winter. The staff were great. It's not their fault. Won't be going there again."

"Staff was excellent. Room was filthy. Everything was sticky and my white socks turned completely black after walking on the floors for just a few minutes. Stains all over the bedding (thank god we brought our own) and ice machines were non operational on the hottest weekend of the year. Hair in the shower and sinks, and TV was unwatchable due to static."

"The fire alarm went off the night we stayed because someone was smoking in their room. They let us back in after a little bit we finally got settled into bed around 11pm and they went off again (to reset the system which would have been nice if they called the rooms to let people know it was going to go off again) Since we didn't know that my kids woke back up scared. The redeeming quality in all this experience was the Overnight manager. She was very calm and kind and settled us all down...

"Hotel en renovation, donc beaucoup de va et viens. Plusieurs personnes demeurent la ah long terme. Machine à café en service uniquement le matin. Nous avions booker un studio mais ne vient pas avec les poêlon, roster… seulement 2 assiette, 2 verres et 2 fourchettes. Donc pas pratique si vous voulez pleinement utiliser la cuisine. Le check in était très long, ils semblaient même être over booked… L’hôtel est très propre et neuf. Près d’un Walmart et petits restaurants."

"Storm activity cancelled my flight. The Comfort Inn South Portland team made things effortless and a great value. Shuttle service from and to the airport was convenient - almost no waiting and a 3-minute ride... The staff was professional and courteous - even at 3:30am in the morning."

"We were literally locked out of our room because the system was down. We missed our reservations for dinner and spent almost 2 hours along with other guests in the Lobby while someone tried to troubleshoot. It was awful. "

"We checked in to find bugs in our room crawling all over the entertainment center. We notified the front desk and we check out right away. We were told we would have too wait till monday for see if we could get a refund. Also left us having too put out more money for another place to stay."
