"The property is pretty basic and laid back for what we needed. We stayed in the Garden View 1BR villa. It was clean, the AC and internet worked good, and less than a minute walk to pool and beach. The restaurant is ok, but out of food a lot and slow. Important for us: • Clean and cool • Comfortable bed • Very lose to beach • Plenty of kayaks. OK snorkeling by the reef rocks. • 5 minute drive to Georgetown: Food, drinks, shopping, water taxi •"

"We love love love staying at Grand Isle. We jsut completed our second year in a row. The beach is stunning. The pool is right there. Everyone is so nice. We love the bars and hanging by the pool. Jumping back and forth between pool and beach is seamless. The staff is fantastic. We LOVE the Exumas and highly recommend. Some tips is that you have a full kitchen in your apartment so bring food when you go as the market is a taxi drive away and because it’s a remote island a lot of items they won’t have. We packed a bunch of non-perishables for the kids because eating out every day three meals a day gets very pricey. Breads and chips and oatmeal and tuna and Mac n cheese. Mayo. Granola bars. Mixed nuts. Pistachios. Etc. next year we will bring even more but it will be perishables that we will pack in a cooler and check it in."

Cottage Cut Villas

"The private beach access was amazing. The overall make up of the villa was great. There is a boat rental/repair on the property that was noisy at times, but would only affect you if you planned on sleeping all day. The rooms would benefit from blackout blinds, on site cleaning supplies, and a better selection of kitchen appliances/cookware. The TV instructions didn't match the remote supplied, so if you wanted to watch a movie it would not allow you to open anything. I messaged the host several times through the chat function provided and never received a response, so that would be the only negative I had from our stay."
