For example, the balcony door handle broke off when we tried to close it, and the safe was missing a battery cover, causing it to work intermittently. When staff came to fix it, they literally taped the batteries in place. The bathrooms also lack exhaust fans, so nothing ever really dries, which was frustrating. "Check in on arrival was disastrous, rude staff and not interested in doing their job. Room was supposedly a “Superior” room, 5-star quality, but was simply not even close. No door on bathroom. No door on closet (a curtain instead) and as basic as they come. Pool area we visited was very clean and service was good. Meals at top restaurants were excellent. Breakfast buffet was good.
