Friendly boutique hotel
Lovely one night stay. Jackie was super friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to the junior suite for a small fee. Large living room and comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

Fabulous stay at the Grange Boutique Hotel. Jackie was really welcoming and explained everything to us about our stay, things to do and the breakfast. The room was warm, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was served in a lovely dining room and was excellent quality

We loved our stay at The Grange Boutique Hotel, from the moment we got to the property and met Jacquie, to the moment we left! She had such a warm greeting for us, the hotel and the room room were absolutely lovely! Breakfast in the morning was delicious, we opted for the Eggs Benedict with Nigel’s special Hollandaise sauce, and it did not disappoint! Had a lovely chat with Jacquie before we left. Our only regret was not having more time to stay in this lovely hotel in a beautiful town! We so hope to get back over to spend more time in the area and we would not hesitate to stay at The Grange again!

We visited for a wedding on the Saturday in Cartmel and had a lovely time at this hotel. The hospitality was brilliant, we parked outside and the room was spacious, clean and very impressive - especially the bathroom! The breakfasts was incredible and brought to our room. Jackie & Nigel looked after us and would recommend to all to stay here.

Fantastic dog friendly stay
Very welcoming, lovely large room just next to front door which was excellent as we were travelling with our dog ( normally you are pushed to the furthest end of the top floor). Another plus was that breakfast was delivered to our room so we could stay with Toby our dog Will definitely stay there again when in the area

Grange boutique Hotel
We had the best time, very relaxing, excellent decor and very well equipped. Got a full list of great restaurants of our hosts Nigel & Jackie. Breakfast was delivered to our room. Great place and would recommend it to anyone.

Superb hotel , Room No. 3
Excellent stay, the decor, cleanliness, attention to detail and staff was superb. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room. Lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom. I would highly recommend a stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if in the area.

Beautiful hotel
We recently enjoyed a one night stay at Grange Boutique Hotel and couldn't have wished for a better experience. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jackie who was so helpful, informative and warm and decided to upgrade to one of the Suites. The Suite was stunning with a relaxing kitchen/ lounge area, beautiful luxury bedroom (with the comfiest King size bed!) and a double spa bath. We could tell the owners, Jackie and Nigel, really care about what they do as every detail of the hotel was just perfect. We couldn't find a fault if we tried. Before our stay they also emailed us with a list of local taxis, restaurants, etc which we found really useful. The hotel location is very convenient as there are a few shops nearby, some cafes if you needed lunch and the promenade is lovely for a morning walk. It was a great base to explore Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere too. Thank you for a simply perfect stay - We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Loved the Lovers Suite!
We booked the Lovers Suite for our 10th wedding anniversary. The room was lovely, everything you need, nice and clean. Friendly hosts. The jacuzzi bath was great! The kitchenette area was fab. Such a relaxing break. Lots to do around the area. The only improvement I would suggest us to add vegetarian sausages to the breakfast menu.

Thank you for your lovely comments :) We try to have more unusual vegetarian options, so with the current selection we are also adding more kimchi dishes, cheese and onion omelette, and a few more mushroom and garlic selections to excite the tastebuds.

Fantastic stay at grange boutique. In terms of a review it’s actually quite hard to do, on the face of it the value is poor. We paid £155 and the room was off the hotel lobby about 5m from the front door, the windows didn’t lock and are accessible from the street (though was offered to bolt it shut and there’s cctv etc), the bathroom was a little dated and there was a big stain on the ceiling which apparently occurred the week before. The negatives out the way, the host Jackie was genuinely fantastic and to me you can offset the money on the slightly sub standard room with essentially a local area tour guide, a friendly face and super accommodating. Breakfasts are great too and they dealt with Covid really well. The hotel location is perfect for the area too. They are in the process of upgrading the room we stayed in so would recommend not staying in the room next to the lobby as the room is relatively expensive for what you get.

Excellent Base for Lake District Holiday
We stayed in the Lovers Suite - kitchen / living room & en-suite bedroom. Very well appointed kitchen (oven, fridge, dishwasher, pans & utensils plus good range of cutlery & crockery), large bedroom with comfortable bed, and an extremely spacious bathroom. Good breakfast brought to your room. Lovely town with local & chain food shops near by.

Amazing local food in amazing location.
The hotel is going through a refurbishment/ transformation under new management and this is much needed as the room we were in although very clean was a little tired. However, the local food served as part of the breakfast was AMAZING and thenew owners did show us one of the rooms that had already been refurbished/transformed and it was fabulous. Really looking forward to going back again!!

We will be so much happier when all the rooms are totally refurbished, and yours is the next one,(almost the last one) being totally renovated with the adjacent 2 rooms to become a beautiful new Deluxe Suite, with Spa Bath and separate Walk in Shower, sitting area, Fireplace, and Super King size Bed. In the meantime, the next Deluxe Suite/Apartment with its own Infra Red Sauna is due to open in August, over 1000 sq ft, and a wonderful quirky wallpaper, Double Spa Bath, and Private Entrance. Lovely hotel near to where we wanted to be.
We arrived to a friendly owner giving full details of what the booking entailed and was guided into a beautiful room. The room was very clean and comfortable and refreshments available in the room. i.e tea coffee biscuits. The breakfast the following morning was excellent as all the ingredients was home grown or bought locally adding to the experience.

Nice hotel close to the front and village centre.
Stayed at the Lymehurst for two nights for Cartmel races. From the moment I booked Jackie the owner couldn't have been more helpful. She gave me a list of telephone numbers for local taxis and advised me to book early to avoid disappointment. What a good shout wouldn't have been able taxi if left to the day. She also advised booking a table at pubs in Cartmel if we wanted to stay after races again good shout, people just couldn,t get table throughout the evening. Upon arrival a very friendly greeting from Jackie who gave us all her excellent local knowledge about things going on in Grange and where to eat. Shown to our spotless room and everything explained. Breakfast was delicious the next mornings everything local and award winning sausages booking again soon for next year.

Lymehirst Hotel — Grange-over-Sands
Handily placed one street away from main road through town so quiet during evening and night. Jacqui proactively concerned for wel-being of residents. Relatively new owners have already completed much refurbishment. A good choice of first rate food. We would certainly choose this hotel again.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Helpful and informative staff. Excellent breakfast. Good location both locally and within Lake District. . Convenient car parking, although not too spacious. We would definitely recommend to others, and use again ourselves.

One of the warmest welcomes we have ever received. Our host was extremely helpful with knowledge of the area. Breakfast was good. The en suite room very good. Would definitely recommend. However, be prepared to carry your suitcase up a number of steps to the door of the property.

Really enjoyed it. Jacqui is the best host ever and her attention made all the difference. only gripe were the steps up to the entrance otherwise we loved it. Beautiful room with beds to die for so comfortable and excellent locally sourced breakfast. Cannot recommend enough

Sorry the room was cramped for you, that room and bathroom will soon be absorbed into the adjoining room, becoming a beautiful large deluxe suite with spa bath,separate walk in shower, sitting area, 49" flat screen TV and sound system. We agree that the inherited rooms are small, and therefore we will be increasing the size, quality, ambience of all the rooms, fixtures and fittings throughout the Hotel. We hope you enjoy your next stay in our new suites and apartments.
