"We had a lovely stay at Hotel des Alpes. The owner is so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely dinner which he hosted and he had us laughing every time he came to check on us. The dinner was amazing, as was the local wine. Breakfast was also perfect. A lovely buffet with just enough to choose from, and everything was top notch. We were hiking the TMB which they knew nothing about ( or there was a language barrier), so don’t expect any answers re: the trail or luggage transfers. There were many farm animals and dogs around, so you have to be comfortable with seeing dogs playing around and even pigs in the lobby!"
