I reserved a room with hot tub but when i got there it was a king suit instead sobi talked to front desk and they where all out of the rooms so they discounted my room without a problem

Chose this hotel to take my kids swimming. While checking in we were told the pool and hot tub were open until 11pm, we went and changed into our suits and headed downstairs where we were then told both were closed for the next three days. The entire lobby and elevators reeked of marijuana. Our room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, had stains all over the couch cushions and didn’t have any extra bedding for the pullout bed which is where the kids were supposed to sleep. Not that I was going to let them considering the disgust I had about how dirty it was. We decided to change back into our clothes and ask for a refund considering the one thing we went for was to swim and couldn’t even do that. Front desk said she would give us our refund and it’s now been a week and a half and still have not received the money. Very disappointed

Your feedback is essential for us to continue to make strides to improve our guest experience.We are very diligent in keeping up with our pool maintenance, and sometimes that includes closing the pool for a certain period of time to rebalance our chemicals, especially after periods of high usage. Having correct chemical levels in our pool is very important to keep our guests safe from bacteria like E. Coli. Unfortunately, it seems as if you were miscommunicated to, because we had our pool back open within 12 hours of closure. I can assure you, if we have any type of pool closure, it's to make sure that our pool is operating in optimum condition to keep our guests safe and allow them to have the best experience possible.Your reservation was a prepaid reservation through Expedia, so any compensation requests have to go through Expedia. We have not heard from Expedia regarding your reservation. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have another chance to provide you a better stay in the future!
The room was nice spacious comfortable. Had a nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good. The only issue I really had was with the window area in the room. There was mold along both sides of the window and in the track of the sliding window. Wondered why my nose was a bit stuffy during the stay, and that was probably the reason.

Hi Ann,Thank you for providing feedback about your stay!All of our rooms have closets in them that include hanger space, irons, and ironing boards. We also provide laundry bags in our rooms so our guests can keep their dirty clothes separate from their clean ones. Our closets are located in every guest room behind the mirror that is next to the bathroom door. The mirror is actually a door that opens up for closet access.Thank you for staying with us and we hope to have you back again sometime soon!
Bathtub was dirty, trash in bathroom, water pressure in shower was terrible. Jacuzzi was broken and no notice when booked. Bunch of young kids yelling and running down hallways until 11 pm. Hallway wreaked of marijuana. Been here 4-5 times in last month for work. Worst experience.
I was impressed with the cleanliness, nice staff, and amenities. The free breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and gave us free snacks because he felt bad that the hottub was closed. Definitely would recommend to a friend!
The hot tub broke down 20 minutes before we arrived and was not fixed for the duration of our stay. I will say they actually had someone trying to fix it the whole time though. Everything else was spectacular and I would definitely go back.
Coming to Grand Rapids for a funeral, I chose Comfort Suites Grand Rapids North as it was conveniently located, clean, great breakfast, close to family, easy access to highway to get back home.
