"Comfort Inn off I-70 was conveniently located near the airport and only a short drive to Mesa University. Easy to get in and out of. It is directly next to Wendy’s, but I wouldn’t walk to anything else. It felt safe to sit outside at night on the bench. The staff was very friendly and the property was well maintained and clean, and the rooms were clean, even the beds and bathrooms passed our inspections. There are plenty of towels provided for 3 of us, working small fridge & microwave.
Parking was very limited if you got there late at night and you might have to park on dirt/gravel. Very small closet/rod, or any storage for personal items. We had a 2 queen bedroom. There are no real toiletries. They are attached to the wall, which doesn’t help me comfortably know they haven’t been tampered with. The water pressure is decent. There was no coffee/water available after breakfast hours when I went searching. The side door was still open after dark, even though at times you did need your card to get into the building (I’m not sure what time is actual lockdown for that-it may have been a little early that night).
Overall, I would stay here again on my next trip. As I felt safe, I felt my car was in a bright parking lot since I was able to park out front every time. It had everything I needed because I brought my toiletries. The beds I will say are super comfortable, they have blackout blinds and shade blinds so you can have bright light or dark even on the first floor."
